Scraping For Change (SFC) is a Bay Area based band that is redefining modern day rock. Expanding on the vocal styles of Brandon Boyd of Incubus and Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day, and incorporating some heart pounding instrumentals, SFC has been mesmerizing crowds every time they take the stage. SFC is known to have stellar live performances full of energy and crowd interaction. SFC formed in Belmont, California in 2003. Scraping For Change consists of Vocalist/Guitarist Sterling Selover, Bassist Jonathan Graham, Drummer Jonathan Mumma, and Keyboardist Scott Lewis.

Scraping for Change played at the infamous Playboy Mansion in May, 2007. They followed this show by taking a summer tour throughout Indonesia in July and August of 2007 to play in the largest music festival of the year, Soundrenaline. The average attendance at each festival show was 50,000+. Their song Crazy Mary climbed to the #1 spot on the Top 40 Charts of Prambors Radio right above Kanye West's Stronger," and various other acts including Yellowcard, Sum41, Lifehouse, Shiny Toy Guns and more!

Scraping For Change has been featured/reviewed in Guitar Player Magazine, AwakenMusic, The 2009 Musician's Atlas, and several newspapers including the San Mateo Daily Journal, The Turlock Journal, and the Tri-Valley Herald.

Scraping For Change released their first album, ìHeartaches and Danger, in August, 2004. SFC released their second album "19*6*3" in August of 2008. Both albums are currently available on iTunes, CDBaby.com, and select record stores in the San Francisco Bay Area including Ameoba Music.

SFC has finished recording a new E.P. with Producer Scott Llamas at Popsmear Studios in San Rafael, CA. Llamas was declared the Bay Area's most played producer by DJ Aaron Axelsen of Live 105 (KITS). The E.P. was released January 14, 2010 and is available on CDBaby and iTunes.
